GigsToSee (“we”, “us”) operates www.gigstosee.com, a free guide to live local music. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Name (or band / venue name)
• Email address
• Mobile phone number (only if you choose text alerts)
• Your favorite artists and venues, and the alert settings you pick
• General location information you provide, such as a ZIP code or city, so we can show gigs near you

How we use your information

• Mobile numbers are used only to send the SMS alerts you opt into — show announcements and reminders for the artists and venues you follow. We do not use your number for any other purpose.
• Email addresses are used for your account, show alerts, and optional marketing such as our weekly “what’s playing this weekend” email, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers who help us run GigsToSee — for example our SMS delivery provider, our email delivery provider, hosting, and database providers — and only as needed to deliver the messages and features you requested. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar local storage on your device to remember your filters, location choice, saved artists, and whether you have dismissed prompts. We also collect basic, aggregate analytics — page views, referring pages, and general device type — to understand which pages are useful. This analytics data is not used to build advertising profiles. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

SMS opt-out and help

Text alerts are opt-in only. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from text alerts, or reply HELP for help. You can also turn alerts off from the manage link included in every alert we send.

Account deletion

You can delete your artist or venue profile at any time from your dashboard, which removes that profile and its listings. To delete your account and all associated alert settings, email info@gigstosee.com from your registered address and we will remove your data.

Children

GigsToSee is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the effective date above and post the revised policy on this page.
